Project Management (Associate)

We are looking for effective project managers with masterful skills in leadership, communication, time management, risk management, planning, negotiation, and subject matter expertise. With a:

  • Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and lead the collaborative planning process, prioritising work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team.
  • Proven ability to engage and work with development teams to fully understand technical solutions to make informed decisions as well as the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
  • Designated project management assignments from initiation to final operational stage, including design, build and testing and integration activity, with suppliers, 3rd parties and partners, or expertise in any one or more of the stages of the project management life cycle.
  • Ability to ensure adherence to financial governance regimes and compliance with contractual delivery mechanisms and project targets to deliver value for money.
  • Creation and maintenance of project documentation, including plans, dashboard reports, risk and issue management, management reporting, document control and management.
  • Ability to ensure the project focuses on realisation of business benefits by creating readiness plans taking into consideration technology deployment, data migration, capability deployment and any business activities required to integrate new processes or jobs into the business as usual environment.

 

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of working to relevant agile certification, PRINCE2, MSP, APMP, PMP, ISEB Certificates in Programme Management.
  • Management or equivalent levels and experience of using recognised methodologies to develop and deliver technology / non-technology projects and maintaining financial controls.
  • Work effectively and influence positively the project governance arrangements, including informal and formal assurance.
  • Ensure the quality of the solution and all other deliverables by identifying actions to resolve delivery risks and issues; supporting suppliers and delivery teams to manage the impact of changes when developing and delivering these solutions so that delivery remains on track.
