I recently came across an article that said, “People are not your most valuable asset”. On seeing such a statement some business types may have muttered to themselves, “nonsense”, or “everyone is entitled to their opinion” or may have been curious even, “Hmmm, interesting perspective”, and read on. I was the later, because, that statement happened to resonate with me. I too think, “People are not your most valuable asset” in business. I think people are much more, so much so I believe they make a business. A famous person with a unique name was once quoted as saying, “You do not build a business – you build people – and people build your business” – by Zig Ziglar.
